The aim of the study was finding out how interested people are in reusable packaging for milk, i.e. packaging which people refill themselves. There were two groups of participants. On the one hand, a sensory perception group to discover whether there is a difference between milk stored in a glass bottle, or in a carton. The other group participated in an online survey involving various questions concerning milk, the environment and interest in reusable packaging for milk. The results of the study indicated that there is no significant taste difference between milk stored in a glass bottle or in a paperboard carton. The results of the survey showed that many people were ready to try reusable packaging, however, there was a big difference between age groups.
